The Guática township is located northeast of the Risaralda Department in the Western Mountain Range. Its soils are irrigated by the Guática, Ospirma, and Gold Rivers. The coffee growers are small owners; averaging 1.3 hectares per farm. Post-harvesting farmers perform an aerobic fermentation for at least 15 hours.
