Red Whale Coffee will be hosting education sessions in the months of January and February for “Learning About Coffee”

What Will Happen:
For 1 hour we will explore and discuss coffees its origins and its effects. We will small batch roast coffee, cup coffee and sample and talk about the sensory aspects of coffee and a whole lot more.

What We Will Do:
Roast coffee, sample 5 flights of coffees and pair them with several desserts.

What You Will Get:
Knowledge and a better understanding of coffees, sample some great coffees, taste some great desserts and take a fresh roasted 1/2 pound of coffee home.

When:
Thursday, January 24th @ 7:00 pm.

Thursday, February 14th @ 7:00 pm.
This session will be geared for couples and Valentines Day.
We will have some special extras.

The Cost:
$37.95 per person plus HST. The session will be limited to 10 people per session and is on a first come first serve basis so get signed up.

If you have a group that you need a meeting spot for the Red Whale is the place to have it.

I read something from a local rag “Here” the other day saying that here in Saint John possibly the best cup of coffee this journalist had had was coffee from a pod and from a local bakery. Now the bakery I would agree is a great place and has great baked goods, but coffee from a pod? Duho! I cant imagine that this journalist has been to the Red Whale yet. But coffee from a pod! Thats like saying Wounder Bread is better than a fresh loaf of bread. Coffee is like Bread the fresher it is the better it is, so keep that in mind, when you have your next cup of non Red Whale Coffee. Just a little Rant……
