This Saturday December 1st 2007 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Santa will be here at the Red Whale Coffee Company, Rothesay. This will be a great opportunity for you and your children to bring in there Christmas wish lists and share them with Santa. We look forward to seeing you and your children here.

We now have the “Debit Card” up and running!! Here is the thing that goes with it: We are only processing transactions of $5.00 or more for Debit/Interact. No minimums on Credit Cards and the almighty Canadian$. We thank those of you who have been patiently waiting for the Interact.
A little explanation of why we are only processing transactions of $5.00 or higher:
Interact charges us .07 per transaction no matter what the size of the transaction. So if you think about a $1.25 transaction and the associated costs of that transaction it makes the margins even smaller and sometimes non-existent. This is why you don�t see the big guys like T.H. using Interact. T.H. has just launched what they are calling there “Quick Pay” which is a over glorified gift card. We have had this type of card for several years now.
The “Quick Pay” card that the Red Whale has is also refillable and can be used like a debit/Interact card. You can put as much on the card as you want $5-$10-$20 etc. The Quick Pay card is great for gifts or as a stocking stuffer.

Red Whale will be displaying at the upcoming “The Ladies Fair” being held at Saint Mark’s Church on the Pettingal Road this Friday November the 16th starting at 6:30. It looks like it will be a fun evening for the ladies in our community. Also, if you haven’t yet sent in your raffle tickets could you please do so by tomorrow as the draw is scheduled for Friday evening.

I profiled this coffee to be full bodied with a little extra kick to get you up and going or get you back in gear. The cup on this coffee is rich dark chocolate and full of spice and very deep. Try it and tell me what you think.
